The Institution of Highway & Transportation

South Wales

The area covered by the South Wales Branch provides excellent conditions for living and working, with its vibrant Capital City, its many Blue Flag beaches, two National Parks, its long history and culture.

Also, the varied topography and National Parks provide engineering and environmental challenges for highways and transportation engineers.

The South Wales Branch Committee provides an interesting calendar of events each year including the Annual Seminar with delegates coming from over the UK and the Annual Dinner, the social highlight of the year..

More information is available on the background to the Branch.
