Joined Costain after retiring from South Wales Police after 33 years service. His position on retirement was Divisional Commander (Chief Superintendent) of the Merthyr and Rhondda Cynon Taff division with responsibility for policing a resident population of 300,000 people and managing a police and support team of over 800 people. Since joining Costain has overseen the Community Relations responsibilities for two major projects namely the Porth Relief Road and the Church Village Bypass. With a small team has been responsible for improving the internal communication systems that provide effective interaction with the public as well as producing a safety comic that is provided to all school children residing near Costain sites across the UK.
