Now a Director with Capita Symonds, Ian Walsh started his career with a contractor in Swansea. Subsequently he moved to Mid-Glamorgan County Council achieving chartered status in 1986. On Local Government reorganisation in 1996 he joined the newly formed Glamorgan Engineering Consultancy taking responsibility for the construction project management team. In 2008 the joint venture partnership between Bridgend CBC, Merthyr CBC, Rhondda Cynon Taff CBC and Capita Symonds was formed. In addition to his project management role, Ian is responsible for client management and the company's SRB development.
