Dear Members

Thank you for your continued support and attendances over the last year at the various events that your local branch has organised.  My colleagues are busying themselves once again and finalising a programme for the next nine months or so including, for example: a TPP & CEng Training Workshop, a visit to the Williams F1 facilities in Grove and our AGM in May (details to be confirmed). We are proposing to jointly host and hold the annual dinner dance on 12 October with Southern Branch. This follows last year’s successful event at the Barcelo Country Hotel.

I am now into my second term of branch Chairman before handing over to Phil Bridge in May. It has been a privilege to serve the Thames & Chilterns branch and I propose to continue and to assist the committee when I step down.

In the forthcoming CIHT Council Elections I will also be seeking election as an Ordinary Member of Council and hope that you might support me.

In the meantime I look forward to your participation and meeting you at our future events and functions.
