Transferring Engineering Council Registration

If you are registered as a Chartered or Incorporated Engineer with the Engineering Council through another institution, you may transfer your registration to CIHT by completing the transfer form below.  There is no charge for transferring registration.

  1. Please complete the information below. You are advised not to cancel your present registration until we have written to you to confirm that your registration has been transferred. You will be invoiced by CIHT for Engineering Council fees when due, following confirmation of your transfer.

  17. If your current year’s fees are not paid, please tell us when you last paid your registration fees. (If not known, please contact your current registering Institution for date of last payment). Under Engineering Council regulations, if fees have not been paid for 2 years, then you can be reinstated following payment of overdue fees. If payment has not been paid for 3 years or more, then you must re-apply for registration.
