After the success of the 2011 Awards, CIHT will be holding its 6th annual awards ceremony in June 2012 and the awards are now open to entries.
The CIHT Awards are a celebration of the highways and transportation industry and the methodical, innovative and resourceful professionals that inspire improvements to our society. It is an opportunity to reward the remarkable achievements of those working in the sector and to promote this professionalism and best practice to a wider industry audience.
Previous winners have gone on to receive critical acclaim, national press attention and industry recognition. Shortlisted entrants will be invited to the CIHT Awards ceremony, hosted by a celebrity guest.
The judges are only obliged to look at the first 1000 words of the entry. However, this word limit is to act as guidance only.
The highlighted criteria are weighted more heavily. However, it is not necessary for the entry to meet all of the specified criteria, as they are designed to act only as guidance. However entries run the risk of being marked down if not all criteria are covered on the entry submission.
