This award recognises outstanding street designs. Completed schemes, or those at Entries to the detailed design or construction stage, CIHT Awards are eligible.

Entries to the CIHT Awards are now closed.

Judging will commence shortly after this date and then shortlisted entries will be notified.

All criteria marked with an asterix (*) are allocated heavier weighting than other categories.

Judging Criteria for the award:
 

  • Demonstration of fulfilling a clearly articulated vision
  • Encourage environmentally sustainable travel choices
  • Well executed planning and implementation (Consultation and Collaboration)
  • Achieve a good balance between Movement and Place functions
  • Excellence in accessibility and inclusiveness
  • Quality, Functionality and Maintainability of Design
  • Good Connectivity to the surrounding community
  • Evidence that scheme objectives are being achieved
