This award is for outstanding examples of new developments that make a marked positive contribution to the health and safety of employees or professional users of the transport network, embracing aspects of behaviour technology, infrastructure provision and operation.

Judging will commence shortly after this date and then shortlisted entries will be notified.


All criteria marked with an asterix (*) are allocated heavier weighting than other categories.

• Planning (robustness of research and consultation)
• Wider implementation potential
