The talk will take place at 6.30 pm (refreshments at 6 pm) at
ICE Wales Cymru, 2, Bay Chambers, West Bute Street, Cardiff CF10 5BB
after the Annual General meeting.

The talk will be given by Mike Stroud, CEng, FICE, FCIHT, formerly the Executive Director for Transportation, Environment and Leisure Services at the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, where he was also the Deputy Chief Executive.
Mike will outline his passion for uncomplicated and high quality street design and will talk about the Kensington High Street Improvement scheme and how this work has influenced other streetscape improvements in London during the last decade.
Mike will argue the importance of identifying an enthusiast to ‘champion’ de-cluttering and high quality design, and he will explain how, in his case, a senior politician provided the tenacity and impetus for transformational change in the appearance of the streets in central London.
