Geoff's presentation will describe the general principles and practice of streetscape lighting, illustrated by examples from around Europe and the UK. Starting with the EU and UK Codes of Practice he will explain lighting design parameters, colour rendering and colour appearance, lamp sources, light pollution and how lighting forms an essential component of urban living.
