Note: The venue is not easily accessible by public transport and we would advise you arrive by car. Visitor Parking is available. Instructions on how to get to the site will be sent to you with your booking confirmation.

Hi- visibility vests and helmets will be available but please bring your own safety shoes or boots – this will enable you to visit all areas of the site

Introduction by Bill Hall (Business Development Manager);
Presentation by Michael Conway (Managing Director) and Tim Metcalfe ( Aggregates and Recycling Manager);

A technical visit to FM Conway recycling site in Dartford. Following introductions and refreshments there will be a short presentation on F M Conway and the history of the award winning recycling plant. The visitors will then be taken on a tour of the three principal areas of the facility, the Water Treatment Plant, Crusher and Aggregate Screening and Washing Plant. Between them, these plants recycle 95 per cent of the Company's arisings from it's highways works. The visitors’ will see the unique way in which water recovered from gully waste is cleaned and used in the aggregate washing plant, thereby saving around 25 million litres of potable water per annum.
