High Profile Speakers for MFS2 Events

Norman Baker MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Transport London will speak at the Manual for Streets 2 London event.
Ieuan Wyn Jones, Deputy First Minister and Minister for the Economy and Transport will be speaking at the Manual for Streets 2 Cardiff event.
A series of events will launch the latest guidance document, Manual for Streets 2 – Wider Application of the Principles. The new guidelines take the philosophies set out in Manual for Streets and demonstrate through guidance and case studies how they can be extended beyond residential streets to encompass both urban and rural situations. The document has been designed to assist Local Authority Planning and Highway officials, as well as other professionals, to bridge the gap between Manual for Streets and the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges to deliver more contextually sensitive designs for new or existing highways.
