Midlands Branch Member John Parry Receives CIHT Certificate of Merit

At a Midlands Branch presentation on the 20th January 2011 John Parry (left) was presented with the Institution's Certificate of Merit by Branch Chairman Andrew Horan (right).
Council awarded the Certificate in recognition of John's long service to the Institution. This involved Council membership,two periods as Midlands Branch Chairman, his membership of the Transport Policy Board, and his Chairing of the judges panels for the Annual CIHT National Awards for both the Innovation and Sustainable topics.
As Chairman of the Sustainable Transport Panel he was also heavily involved with the CIHT guide document, ‘Climate Change and Sustainable Transport-the challenge for transport professionals.
