The Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation (CIHT) is a charity, learned society and membership body with 12 UK regions and a number of international groups.

CIHT members plan, design, build, manage, operate and maintain transport infrastructure. 

Through CIHT you can

•    apply for professional registration as an Engineering Technician (EngTech) with the Engineering Council (once you have completed your apprenticeship)

  1. To be eligible for free Apprentice membership, you must be enrolled on a recognised employer apprenticeship scheme. Complete the form below and submit your application to join CIHT.
