  1. When is the next submission date?

    The next closing date for submitting a Portfolio of Evidence is  9 April 2010. Please note: Portfolios of Technical Knowledge and Technical Reports can be submitted at any point during the year.

  2. How do I join CIHT/TPS?

    Via the CIHT website www.ciht.org.uk or telephone the membership department on 020 7336 1571.  Via the TPS website www.tps.org.uk or telephone 020 7799 1325.

  3. Are my qualifications and/or experience relevant?

    To see the list of MSc courses that will allow you to follow the "Standard Route" please view the UTP section of this website. This list is not exhaustive. Please contact us if you would like further advice.

  4. Can I get someone to check that I have chosen the right combination of competency levels?

    Yes. We are happy to check this for you if you send an email to education@ciht.org.uk detailing the competency level that you are declaring for each unit.

  5. Do I need to demonstrate experience in every area of the TPP qualification?

    No. We do not expect everyone to have experience in all areas however, candidates must have sufficient breadth and depth of experience. We recommend that all candidates discuss this with their mentor prior to making their submission.

  6. When should I submit my Portfolio of Technical Knowledge/Technical Report for assessment?

    Portfolios of Technical Knowledge and Technical Reports can be submitted at any time during the year. However, candidates must ensure that they allow enough time for these to be assessed and for the subsequent preparation of their Portfolio of Evidence to meet the relevant deadlines. Candidates should be aware that assessment may take up to six weeks.

  7. Can I get Word versions of the forms?

    Yes. If you would prefer a Word version of any of the TPP documents or forms please email Education@ciht.org.uk
