World Road Association

logo_wra The World Road Association (WRA) of the United Kingdom (UK) is a separate, but affiliated organisation, representing the interests of the World Road Association (also known as PIARC) in the UK.

Membership is comprised of both individuals and organisations; a list of organisations that are members of WRA is outlined below.  Members include the UK government, the construction industry, local highway authorities, research institutions and retired professionals.

Common to all members is an interest in roads or road transport. One of the principal roles of the WRA UK is to disseminate information from the international organisation to the UK. It also supports developing countries by sharing UK expertise and supporting attendance at international committees.
