  • The method of search is similar to that used in all search engines. As many words as required can be used, and those which are imperative in the search may be preceded by + sign. Similarly, words which should be excluded may be preceded by a -. Enclose phrases in inverted commas if necessary. You will often be more successful by breaking a phrase down into its key words, and preceding these by a + sign. You should be aware that the word "bypass" is also often spelt "by-pass" and you may need to try both of these options when necessary, since this search engine will not associate the two words as being equivalent.

  • The results are shown in a new page, and those pages that are the highest in the list are most likely to have the best match to the search criteria. By clicking on the page name, you will open the requested page.  You can search for the required text on this page by using edit>find from the menu.
