Four webinars about the future of planning places in light of the proposed planning reforms. The webinar series will examine the role of transport in planning as an enabler for decarbonisation as well as the practical issues practitioners will face implementing the reforms.
This short webcast will give you an overview of a CIHT supported project run by the Royal College of Arts that looks at community engagement in planning and shifting behaviours to use more sustainable modes of transport. The project uses innovative new visual tools to show communities the impacts of policies to promote sustainable travel including augmented reality tools.
A planning White Paper had been expected for some time; and the Planning for the Future white paper was launched on 6 August 2020. Reactions to the planning white paper have been mixed.
