Sue Percy, Chief Executive

Sue Percy was appointed Chief Executive of the Chartered Institution of Highway & Transportation’s in October 2011.

Sue has a strong record in effective partnership working and delivery and for the 6 years prior to joining CIHT she worked for the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI), most recently as Director of Professional Services.  In addition to leading on the strategic and operational plans for improving and extending services for their members, she was responsible for Planning Aid England, and was a Director of RTPI’s trading company, RTPI Services Ltd.

Prior to joining RTPI, she was Head of the Academic Department of Urban, Environment and Leisure Studies at London South Bank University.
