The Transport Planning Professional (TPP) qualification is based on the National Occupational Standards
for Transport Planning developed
by GoSkills and the Transport
Planning Society (TPS) and it provides professional recognition for transport planners at a level similar to that of Chartered Engineer. The qualification is awarded by CIHT and TPS. Candidates for the TPP need to demonstrate an appreciation of a broad range of transport planning procedures and techniques, and a competence to work in some of these. The TPP is open to CIHT and TPS members.
