CIHT will speak at Trees, People and the Built Environment 5 (TPBE5). The conference, to be held on 23 & 24 April 2024, will explore the role of trees in improving the quality of places and how they can contribute to the net zero carbon ambition for buildings and the built environment.
CIHT will host a session on Roads as Green Places, following on from its work to promote awareness and understanding of Green and Blue Infrastructure. CIHT’s Chief Executive Sue Percy CBE will speak as part of the session and will also join the headline panel on day 1 of the conference.
The two-day hybrid conference will take place at Birmingham’s Edgbaston Stadium and online, featuring speakers from leading professional institutes and groups working across multiple disciplines. It will be chaired by Channel 4’s host of Grand Designs, Kevin McCloud MBE FICFor (Hon), and Gary Newman, Chief Executive of Woodknowledge Wales.
