Who should enter?

This award is open to CIHT members who are:
  • Under 35 or
  • Have up to seven years’ work experience
If you’re keen to raise your profile, gain recognition, and connect with industry leaders, this is your opportunity to be recognised as a rising star.

The winner will:
  • Receive mentoring from CIHT’s President and Immediate Past President
  • Receive a £100 gift voucher
  • Be profiled in Transportation Professional and on the CIHT website
  • Contribute as an emerging professional voice to CIHT Council for one year
  • Gain high-profile recognition and enhanced visibility across the sector
  • Access valuable networking opportunities with senior industry leaders

Finalists will also receive:

Eligibility

Nominees must be current CIHT members at the time of nomination (or have a membership application in progress).

Entry criteria

Judges will look for evidence that nominees have:
  • Made a personal contribution to a significant project or initiative
  • Benefited their organisation, users, or the wider transport sector
  • Engaged with CIHT locally or nationally
  • Acted as a positive role model for the profession

  • Entry deadline: 8 May
  • Shortlist announced: Week commencing 18 May
  • Interviews: 8 June
  • Winner announced: Emerging Professionals Conference, 8 September 2026
