CIHT, representing over 14,000 practitioners in the transportation profession, is looking to recruit a Policy Support Officer to join our Policy and Technical Affairs team.
This new role, in a small active team, will provide a great opportunity to support the development and delivery of our policy and technical outputs. You will work with a wide range of CIHT members, stakeholders and volunteers as well as the rest of the CIHT staff.
You will need to be a confident communicator, good at understanding what people want to achieve and have demonstrable experience in organising and running effective meetings. You’ll have experience of working with groups of people, ideally including volunteers, to deliver outputs from projects. You will be confident at using IT to communicate effectively and comfortable managing different strands of work at the same time.
Although experience of the Highways and transportation sector isn’t essential you’ll need to demonstrate that you have an interest in learning more about what our members do and show how you could work with our volunteers to help CIHT support them.
This is a full-time post based at our Britannia Walk offices.
To apply, please send your CV and covering letter explaining how you meet the personal specification, skills and competencies to email@example.com
