CIHT is thriving membership organisation and registered charity based near Old Street Station in London. We represent individuals and organisations in the highways and transportation sector. We have 12 regions in the UK and several international groups.
CIHT is seeking to appoint to a Partnerships Network Manager to develop and maintain relationships with its public and private sector partners. This is an exciting opportunity for a membership professional with experience of stakeholder engagement and relationship building to lead on recruitment and retention of organisations signing up to the Partnerships Network, engage in the development and delivery of events and other services designed to support partner organisations, and identify opportunities for knowledge sharing across the Partnerships Network that add value for CIHT and its partners.
The successful candidate will be part of the Corporate Services Team but will work with staff across CIHT to embed and grow the Network. This role requires someone with excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate and build relationships with a range of stakeholders at all levels, as well as an understanding of member engagement and working with volunteers. In addition, the post holder will need well-developed project management skills. A positive attitude and the ability to work constructively and productively as part of a busy team is essential. The role requires an amount of travel within the UK, some of which may require overnight stays.
You will hold a degree, or an equivalent qualification, and be able to demonstrate IT skills including use of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and experience of using a CRM system. For a copy of the job description please go to www.ciht.org.uk/vacancies

Working with the Marketing & Communications Manager, you will be responsible to effectively communicate the CIHT’s messages to all its stakeholders and members through a variety of channels.
This is a great opportunity for a passionate communicator with an ability to work quickly and flexibly to help shape and deliver CIHT’s communication activity. The role calls for a highly motivated individual who has; strong organisational skills, is an excellent communicator, can work under pressure, a keen interest in social media and can balance a variety of demands on their time. The role requires someone with energy, enthusiasm and a real desire to develop a communications role in a busy and productive team.
