Like you, the 2026 CIHT awards have raised the bar. As a successful entry you and your organisation have produced incredible work, our role is to celebrate best practice, promote your professionalism and give it the biggest stage. The value of the awards does not stop at the announcement of the shortlisted entries and winners. We are creating new content to ensure your work is in front of the leaders, decision makers and future leaders of the sector.
Beyond the Awards: Lessons from the Shortlist
We’d love your insight as part of our upcoming feature, Beyond the Awards: Lessons from the Shortlist. We’re inviting shortlisted entrants to share their experience and insight by answering four quick questions on legacy, skills, learning, and future trends. Your reflections will help others across the sector apply what works now and prepare for what’s next. Plus it will help raise the profile of your project and position yourselves as thought leaders. This is a chance to showcase your impact and inspire others with the lessons behind your success.
What we are looking for:
1) Responses from figures in your organisation or project to represent the shortlisted entry
2) Open and honest responses to the questions
3) Our members enjoy hearing from their peers and are motivated by insight that raise the bar of highways and transportation and lead to practical takeaways and positive action.
What we are not looking for:
1) Sales pitches
2) Agency or consultancy credentials presentations
3) Very short answers that do not inform or enhance understanding - minimum of one paragraph.
