At the moment the discussions are at a very early stage and today’s get together was about sharing information and knowledge in order to gauge the appetite for exploring the opportunity a little further.  The roundtable convened by CIHT is one of three being held – the others organised by ADEPT and leaders from amongst the private sector providers.  Whilst no one is under any illusions that the work to develop a Highways Sector Deal is significant, there is a general sense that the potential benefits of it are ones worth seeking out.
