The 22nd annual TRICS® Transport & Development Conference is themed “Managing Movement”, and this year is being held at an intriguing venue, the Magic Circle Headquarters in London. Fees are a fraction of those charged in 2009, and there are further discounts available to both TRICS® and CIHT members. There are many high quality speakers lined up, and topics through the day include the forthcoming Manual for Streets 2, Regeneration in the UK, a session on marketing transport choices, attitudes and travel behaviour and auditing travel plans, and a debate between speakers from the Green Party (London Assembly) and the RAC Foundation on “Parking: More or Less”. There are also breakout sessions which consist of a TRICS® system demonstration and an interactive discussion forum covering topics selected by delegates.
Attendance at this year’s TRICS® Conference will count towards the CIHT’s CPD (Continuing Professional Development) hours.
