Overview

This webinar will provide an overview of the A164 and Jock’s Lodge Improvement Scheme from its initial inception at concept design stage through to construction. This includes details of the options that were considered, the preferred scheme selection process, planning and funding approval, as well as the construction stage and future monitoring and evaluation.

• Adam Lechmere, Technical Director, Pell Frischmann
  
  Adam is a Technical Director at Pell Frischmann, with over 20 years’ experience in the highways and transport field.
  He is a Chartered Engineer and Chartered Transport Planning Professional, with expertise in development planning and a wealth of experience in managing business case submissions for a range of transport schemes on behalf of Local Authorities and Public Transport Authorities. This includes leading the A164 and Jocks Lodge Junction Improvement Scheme from its initial inception through the option selection stage, development of both Outline and Full Business Case submissions, as well as preparation of the planning application and managing the detailed design.
  
  
• Andrew Humphrey, Principal Engineer, East Riding of Yorkshire Council
  
  Andrew Humphrey has 25 years’ experience in the construction industry with a major emphasis on project management of civil engineering projects. Throughout his career he has played a key part in delivering numerous complex and high profile projects, from the detailed design stage, through the procurement process and finally construction on site. 
  
  
• Luke Ives, Senior Engineer, East Riding of Yorkshire Council
  
  Luke is a Senior Engineer at East Riding of Yorkshire Council, with 8 years’ experience in Civil Engineering starting through the apprentice scheme.  
  He is an Incorporated Engineer with 6 years’ experience in Project Management and Site Supervision under the NEC contracts on a range of Civils projects varying in value. Luke has been involved with this project since its inception, but his main involvement has been in the Construction phase supervising the bridge construction and, upon completion of the bridge construction, the site as a whole. Luke has worked closely with the NEC Project Manager and Supervisor to deliver the scheme.
