A41 warwick Road Smart Routes

Mott MacDonald, Canterbury House, 85 Newhall Street, Birmingham B3 1LZ
6.00 pm for 6.30pm

'The adoption of the 'Smarter Routes' principle presents a co-ordinated whole route approach, as opposed to the current narrow approach adopted by Bus Show case and Red Routes schemes, to enable improvements for pedestrians, cyclists, freight, buses, general traffic and environmental aspects to be included in a corridor wide strategy.

The 'Smart Routes' approach builds upon previous works undertaken on 'Route Management Strategies' by BCC and promotes 'Smarter Choices'. Focusing on the example of the A41 Warwick Road, the process identifies the development of a co-ordinated 'Route Strategy' for the A41 Warwick Road, whilst develivering design concepts for route enhancements, and finally implementation.

Booking is not required. If you require any further details, please contact either Steve Pate (Steve.Pate@Ringway.co.uk) or George Bailes (george.bailes@birmingham.gov.uk)
