The upcoming ACEHK YMC X CIHT HK EPC X ICE HKA G&S: Joint Young Professionals’ Design Thinking Workshop 2026 is an interactive case-competition exercise where teams present their proposal for a project themed “Engineering Tourism & Connectivity”. This inclusive event includes a pre-workshop webinar, a pitching session, ending with a round of mock public consultation. Facilitators will be assigned to each team to assist their presentation.
This workshop centers on the theme ‘Engineering Tourism & Connectivity’, offering young professionals a platform to rethink the future of transport by planning and designing a tourism enhancement scheme. Participants will explore innovative highway and transportation solutions that incorporate environmental and ecological considerations, with the specific design scenario revealed on the day of the event.
This event is open to all young professionals both members and non-members.

Teams & Prizes
Five teams (Four to six members in one team)
Champion - HKD 2,000 and award certificates
First runner-up - HKD 1,500 and award certificates
Second runner-up - HKD 1,000 and award certificates
Interested registrants may register individually or register in a group, via the link: Registration Form. Individual registrants will be assigned to a group. Undergraduate/postgraduate registrations are welcome. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis. The deadline for the online registration is Friday 30 October 2026.
Attendees will receive an attendance CPD certificate.
