Al Wakra Bypass

We are pleased to provide an opportunity for a site visit to Al Wakra Bypass.

The project is located to the west of Al Wakra, and includes the construction of an approximately 17 km of dual carriageway with five lanes in each direction. It starts at Al Mashaf Road and stretches to Mesaieed Road, creating the main bypass to Al Wakra city.

The project also includes the construction of a tunnel and five two-level interchanges that will link the south of Al Wakra city to Hamad International Airport and New Hamad Port.

The site visit will comprise a project briefing on the bypass project with a site visit to follow.

Registration

Please note that spaces are limited and preference will be given to CIHT members. To register email ciht.qatar@gmail.com by Saturday 31st March notification will be sent to successful registrants on Sunday 1st April.

Successful candidates will be notified of meeting point nearer to the site visit date. Final confirmation of attendance will be requested from successful candidates on 3rd – 4th April. If no confirmation is received, it will be assumed as unavailable to attend and your space will be allocated to the next registrant.

No entry will be allowed without PPE. Please bring helmet, high reflective jacket/ vest and boots.
