An Action Plan for Change: Infrastructure Funding and Delivery

 The CIHT C&SS Branch would like to invite you to an important Breakfast Seminar as below:

• at IBI Group, The Athenaeum Building, 8 Nelson Mandela Place, Glasgow, G2 1BT

This meeting is one of a national programme of branch breakfast meetings to disseminate CIHT’s key findings and recommendations to Government resulting from the work undertaken in partnership with Parsons Brinckerhoff and Balfour Beatty, during the last 15 months or so.

This initiative was taken in response to the Government’s invitation to come forward with ideas (the challenge set by the National Infrastructure Plan 2010) to identify specific actions to bring about funding change, unlock blockages and deliver transport infrastructure.

The joint report and recommendations have now been presented to the Secretary of State, Transport Ministers and other leading figures in the public and private sectors.

Parsons Brinckerhoff’s Richard Wigginton and David Carter, who have had leading roles in this work will present the background, key findings and recommendations prior to an open forum discussion amongst all attendees. The Institution is keen to raise awareness and gain feedback and comments from amongst CIHT members
