An Insight into Airport Management

Thursday 18 February,
6pm for 6.30pm
County Hall,
Lewes

Speaker: Marcus Stanton, BAA

Gatwick is the world’s sixth busiest airport and the busiest single runway airport in the world. Around 80 airlines operate from Gatwick’s two terminals, serving over 200 destinations and 35 million passengers every year. Located on the London to Brighton main line and adjacent to the M23, Gatwick is a major transport interchange and a hugely significant economic site for the south east employing 25,000 people.

Gatwick Airport’s head of operations planning Marcus Stanton will give an insight into the complexities of planning day to day operations in context of commercial aspects, the regulatory framework, stakeholder management and a £1Bn capital investment programme.

This event is FREE of charge and open to all members and non members of CIHT
