Zoom: This session, organised by CIHT East Midlands, will give an overview of the range of Engineering professional qualifications on offer through CIHT and the steps required to gain them.
Further to the CIHT East Midlands led 'Routes to membership' event: An introduction to CIHT Membership: Get ahead and supercharge your potential on 19 July, the committee are following this up with a workshop which will focus on the range of engineering professional qualifications, namely EngTech, IEng, CEng and the steps required to gain them.
In this session, we will hear from the following:
- Presentation from CIHT Education Team (Cat Goumal) with an overview of the engineering qualifications
- Presentation from the perspective of a reviewer (Dr. Vivian Robert)
- Presentation from Lucy Nightingale on IEng review experience
- Presentation from Dr. Jwan Kamla on CEng review experience
- Q&A session
It will answer questions regarding the process from initial assessment, portfolio building, the review day, insights from a reviewer, and the experiences of individuals who have been through the process.
All CIHT members are welcome, whether student, apprentice, member etc. Please note that this event will focus on engineering rather than TPP.
Whilst we want to focus on our East Midlands members, we welcome everyone, whether member or non-member, who are currently on, or thinking about, the path to professional qualification.
