This webinar will look at the service and how local governments can use data to achieve greater efficiency and productivity.
The amount of data ‘out there’ and potentially available to Highways authorities as a result of connected vehicles and IoT is set to double within the next 2 years. So how will local Highways authorities do ‘big’ data if some are struggling with ‘small’ data now?

Brian Fitzpatrick is a CIHT Fellow and an engineer with 35 years’ experience of successfully leading and delivering Highways and Transportation projects nationally and internationally. His technical career developed through spells as a Highways Engineer, Traffic Modeller, Transport Planner, Scheme Designer, Project Manager, and ultimately Programme Director. Highlights include:
From 2010 – 2012 Brian served as the Communications Director for ITS-UK.
From 2015 Brian was one of the founding board members for the Highways UK event and helped conceive and present the first Highways Laureates in the sector.
Brian is a regular judge for the British Construction Industry Awards for the ICE as well as a judge for the Partnership Awards.
