Adding Value through utilising BIM in the highways and transportation sector Chichester - Thursday 16th January 2014 1800 (arrive at 1730 for refreshments and light snacks)
Following the successful and informative BIM event in Farnborough in November, an opportunity to find out about the BIM in the highways and transportation sector at a location on the south coast of England! Be ready for the mandatory government requirements for BIM in 2016, and come and hear from expert speakers Steve Jarvis from Mott MacDonald, and Cristina Savian from Autodesk who will focus on adding value through BIM in the project lifecycle including design, construction and asset management. Building Information Modelling for Infrastructure provides civil engineers, designers, planners, surveyors, project managers, and owners with a comprehensive set of integrated tools and processes to plan,design, build, and manage road and highway projects more predictably. Demonstrate compelling design intent, and accelerate project development.
