Date: 6 March 2019
Time: 18:00 for 18:30 start
Location: ARA Social Club, Manton Lane, Bedford, MK41 7PF
Speaker: Ted Doherty (AECOM) / Anne-Marie Rodgers (Highways England)
Anne-Marie Rogers from Highways England and Ted Doherty from AECOM are Project Managers responsible for the delivery of PCF Stage 3 of the A428 Black Cat to Caxton Gibbet Improvement.
The A428 Black Cat to Caxton Gibbet Improvement scheme will deliver a new dual 2-lane all-purpose trunk road with grade separated junctions between the existing Black Cat Junction on the A1 in Bedfordshire and the existing A428 dual carriageway at Caxton Gibbet near to Cambourne in Cambridgeshire. The scheme will provide the missing link in the high standard dual carriageway road between Milton Keynes and Cambridge and ultimately it will form part of Highways England’s planned Oxford to Cambridge expressway.
The meeting will be held, as usual, at the ARA Social Club (see top of map and directions below), with refreshments at 6.00pm and the talk commencing promptly at 6.30pm.
The club is situated at the end of Manton Lane. The car park is on the left before the security gate. Additional free parking is available in Manton Lane. Please park legally as enforcement vans operate.
