‘Switched On Scotland: A Roadmap to Widespread Adoption of Plug-in Vehicles’ sets out a vision
that Scotland's towns, cities and communities will be free from the damaging effects of petrol and
diesel fumes by 2050. This ambitious vision is harnessed through the ChargePlace Scotland
network which, over the past three years, become the third largest electric vehicle charging network
in the UK with currently over 600 public charging facilities.
Laurence and Ross will discuss the background of the ChargePlace Scotland network, the
importance it plays with the increasing use of electric vehicles, how it operates and the future
development of the network.
The implementation – such as integrating electric vehicle facilities into
current and planned infrastructure – will also be discussed, along with examples of the network –
and other facilities – in regular public use throughout Scotland.
CPD CERTIFICATES WILL PROVIDED BY E-MAIL FOLLOWING THE EVENT – REMEMBER TO COMPLETE THE SIGN-IN SHEET TO MAKE SURE YOU RECIEVE YOURS!
