CIHT Awards Dinner 2011

The CIHT Awards are a celebration of the highways and transportation industry. It is an opportunity to reward the remarkable achievements of those working in the sector and to promote this professionalism and best practice to a wider industry audience.

The ceremony for the CIHT Awards 2011 will take place in London on 15th June.

The HAC is located just a stone’s throw from Moorgate BR station and Moorgate tube station and with its six acre garden, it is an oasis of green within the City.

The evening will commence with a drinks reception, followed by dinner & the Awards Ceremony.  You will have the opportunity to network with your industry colleagues and celebrate the achievements of the highways & transportation industry.

Event Running Order & Guest Speaker:

18:30: Drinks Reception

19:15  Dinner

Menu:

Starter:
Tian of peat smoked chicken, ricotta & tarragon with aioli, rocket salad & crispy pancetta

Main:

English lamb rump, carrot and swede purée, runner beans,  rosemary dauphinoise potatoes and sticky baby onions

Dessert:

Dark chocolate salted tart with honeycomb seasonal berries

Tea/Coffee & petit fours

(A vegetarian option will be available but must be booked via CIHT no later than Friday, 10th June)

Following dinner, the Awards Ceremony will take place and you will also hear from our guest speaker, Lieutenant Colonel Andy N Szabo, Commanding Officer of 62 Works Group RE. Should army commitments prevent Lt Col Szabo from attending, his colleague Colonel Steven Boyd, Commander 170 (Infrastructure Support) of Engineer Group will take his place.

Individual ticket cost is £160 + VAT.  Please note that due to restrictions at the venue, if you wish to purchase more than 10 seats, you will not be seated altogether.  Due to venue restrictions, maximum table capacity per table is ten places.  You can book online below or alternatively please download and complete booking form and fax back to 020 7336 1556:

3 course dinner with tea/coffee

Arrival & Departure Times:

Welcome Drinks Reception: 6.30pm - 7.15pm

Followed by three course dinner, guest speaker and Awards Ceremony

The evening will finish at 11.00pm and guests will be asked to leave the HAC and its grounds no later than 11.30pm.    

Drinks:

Any drinks required during dinner can be ordered & paid for directly with the venue caterer. These details will be provided once you have made your booking.

Table Capacities:

Due to venue restrictions, maximum table capacity per table is 10 places.
