Dear Member
Our next event will be a site visit to Postwick Hub, a £19.7 million infrastructure scheme designed to bring new jobs and investment to Norwich.
The Postwick Hub supplements other work delivered in the area, such as the Nar Ouse link road and A11 Dualling. The scheme includes the construction of three roundabouts, a triple span road bridge, eastbound and westbound slip-roads on to the A47, an underpass, bridge refurbishment, a new signalised junction to support the nearby park-and-ride site and a 1.5km dual carriageway link to the Business Park. Also included are associated drainage, safety barriers, road signage, lighting, landscaping and preparation works for an additional Park-and-ride site. At the same time a new access is being constructed to the Park & Ride site, including a further roundabout at the junction of A1042 & Oaks Lane (south of the A47).
The event starts at 2pm with an hours presentation of the scheme, followed by a site visit. Visitors will be driven through the site so there will be no need for Personal Protective Equipment.
The event duration will be around two hours and will be limited to 20 people, with places secured on a first come first served basis.
