Notice is hereby given that the CIHT East Midlands region will hold its AGM meeting between 17:30 - 19:00 on Wednesday 20 May 2026
Come along and support your local committee, learn about what’s happening in your area, plans for the future, and meet fellow CIHT members.
Jwan Kamla, CIHT East Midlands Chair, will reflect on the past year and the numerous successes of the committee throughout the region. The AGM will see the election of new committee members and also see the appointment of the Chair and Officers to take forward the committee's plans for the coming year.
We encourage you to join, and if you wish to do so, please book your place to attend. Once you have booked via this page, you will receive a confirmation email with a joining link for the meeting.
We welcome applications from across all membership grades and from all backgrounds within the transportation sector. Members from all parts of the East Midlands are encouraged to put themselves forward for nomination as we look to cover as-wide-an-area as possible.
Becoming a CIHT Regional Committee member can help you expand your network with leading professionals in your area and help you stand out from the crowd. You can also find more information about the regional committee roles in the Regional Officers Area.
Joining your committee also counts towards Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and can lead to longer involvement in national CIHT activities.
Nominations to join the committee can be made using the regional committee nomination form.
Nomination to join the committee must be made by 5pm on Wednesday 13th May 2026. Applications will need to be supported by four regional members and completed with a declaration to show you are willing to stand.
