Date: Wednesday 13 June 2018
Venue: The Moller Centre, Cambridge University CB3 0DE
This year’s conference may be looking to the future, but our presentations include insights into what’s being developed or tested today and why we as an industry should invest in our infrastructure and systems now.
Prominent and inspiring individuals from across the transportation industry will share their experience and knowledge, including national figures CIHT President: Andreas Markides, CIHT Senior Vice President: Matthew Lugg OBE, DfT Head of Highways Maintenance Funding: Steve Berry OBE, TRL Academy Director: Richard Cuerden.
The afternoon session will include an interactive “Vox Pop” where we ask delegates for their views on hot topics for our industry relating to the current and future changes in vehicles and how we travel and transport good.

CIHT recognise that budgets across the industry are tight, and our aim is to make the conference as inclusive as possible attracting people from small companies, local authorities, as well as the larger consultancies and contractors. After last year’s sell-out of the Moller Centre lecture theatre this year’s conference remains within the Moller Centre but is moving to the education centre which has a larger capacity.
With this increase and thanks to our very generous sponsors we have been able to reduce the prices for delegates to £80 for non-members and just £40 for CIHT Members.
In recognition of feedback from last year that public sector budgets facing unprecedented pressure, we are also able to offer an special “2 for 1” early bird offer for local authority delegates booking before May 18th.
