Notice is hereby given that the 41st Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Annual Dinner (AD) of the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (CIHT) - Hong Kong, will be held at 18:15 at Holiday Inn Golden Mile Hong Kong, 50 Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon on Friday, 27 June 2025.
Annual General Meeting Time: 18:15 - 19:30
Annual Dinner Time: 19:30 - 10:30
Admission Fee for AGM: Free of charge
Admission Fee for AD: HK$800 for members (all grades) and HK$2,000 for non-members
The AGM offers us an opportunity to reflect on the past year and look forward to the next. It also provides an opportunity for CIHT members to hear about and get involved in the Hong Kong region’s activities.
The AGM will see the region’s Chair reflect on the past year and the successes of the region. The AGM will see the election of new committee members and will also see the appointment of the Chair and Officers to take forward the region’s plans for the next year.

The current Vice Chair, Mr. Alan Yan, has been nominated by the Committee as the Chair for the coming session. The current Vice Chair, Mr. Michael Wong, will continue his service as the Vice Chair.
In addition to the two past Chairs – Mr. Raymond Pau and Mr. Simon Chan, the following Committee Members will continue their service in the Committee in the year 2025/2026:

The fee for Annual Dinner is HK$800 and HK$2,000 for members and non-members respectively and will be held at the same venue after the AGM. Please register for the dinner by 7 June 2025 to secure your seat. Should there be any changes to your personal particulars please update MyCIHT on the CIHT website.
We welcome applications to become a committee member from across all membership grades and from all backgrounds within the transportation sector. Members from all parts of the Hong Kong are encouraged to put themselves forward for nomination as we look to cover as-wide-an-area as possible.
Becoming a CIHT Regional Committee member can help you expand your network with leading professionals in your area and help you stand out from the crowd. You can also find more information about the regional committee roles in the Regional Officers Area.
Joining your committee also counts towards Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and can lead to longer involvement in international CIHT activities.
Nominations to join the committee can be made using the regional committee nomination form.
Nominations through the open nomination process for 11 elected committee members are invited and must be proposed and supported by 4 eligible members of the Institution. Please complete the Nomination Form on line with email address, membership number and membership grade of your proposer and 3 supporters by 6 June 2025. Where a position is contested by more than one member, the Honorary Secretary will provide members with a ballot paper to be returned by 20 June 2025. Please provide a short biography in the Nomination Form which will be sent to members in the case of a ballot. The results of the ballot will be announced in the AGM. The HK Committee will nominate the officers among the committee members directly. To allow wider representation, the Committee intends to propose several co-opted members from the industry to serve the new Committee in the 2025/2026 session. The meeting minutes of last AGM is attached to this notice for information, and the financial statement 2024 will be issued separately.
