The construction industry cannot stop, so as the world changes the industry must adapt. This session will look at how the construction industry has adapted itself to survive the 2008 credit crunch, the war in Ukraine and all other events in between. The speaker will tell the adaption story since 2008, then present some thoughts on the future demonstrating how the industry has an attitude of ‘the show must go on’ before inviting comments, questions and further discussions.
This session is for anyone interested in gaining a better understanding of our industry and increasing their awareness of how other parts of the industry think and behave. Also, for those who are concerned about the financial impacts of capital infrastructure transportation projects and maintenance schemes now and in the future
