Hosted at the Arcadis London Office, 80 Fenchurch Street. Light refreshments will be provided.
Join CIHT London as they bring together emerging professionals from across the region to explore transport challenges and identify innovative solutions through facilitated group discussions. The outcomes will be presented at the CIHT Emerging Professionals Conference on 8 September 2026.
Transport as an Enabler: Local Challenges, Regional Solutions, National Patterns.
Participants will be split into small groups to discuss challenges and opportunities across the following five conference sub-themes:
• Connectivity – access to people, places, services and opportunities
• Safety – physical safety, personal security and perception of risk
• Health – physical activity, air quality and mental wellbeing
• Social Inclusion – affordability, accessibility and equality of opportunity
• Progression – education, skills, employment and economic mobility
Using Bexley and Camden as case study boroughs, attendees will work collaboratively to identify practical solutions and develop ideas that can help address some of the most prevalent transport issues nationwide. The event is being delivered as part of the London Region’s contribution to the Emerging Professionals programme and aims to encourage networking, collaboration and knowledge sharing amongst professionals.
This session is open to emerging professionals, graduates, and early-career individuals with an interest in shaping the future of transport across the region.
