CIHT Masterclass - Responding to Climate Hazards

CIHT Masterclass - responding to Climate Hazards

As events such as flooding and extreme heat become more frequent, they are moving from being occasional disruptions to the road network to a recurring operational challenge for Local Highways Authorities.  This shift raises important questions about how authorities work with their supply chains and other partners to plan for disruption, how they respond when events occur, and how learning is fed back into future practice and long term adaptation of the network. This Masterclass provides an opportunity to explore these themes and reflect on how current approaches may need to evolve in advance of the publication of new CIHT guidance on this topic later in 2026.
