With a deep-rooted passion for road safety, particularly the life-saving potential of Vehicle Restraint Systems (VRS), Nigel Bullock has dedicated over three decades to improving highway safety. Beginning in the early 1990s, Nigel’s career in the highway safety industry has seen a continual rise, driven by a commitment to innovation and the development of technologies that mitigate the severity of accidents and save lives.
In the early years of his career, Nigel was part of a pioneering team that introduced cutting-edge highway safety technologies to the UK, technologies that were already being widely used in the United States and parts of Europe, he then progressed to becoming the Managing Director of an SME specialising in road safety equipment.
A major turning point came in 2019 when Nigel joined Hill and Smith Infrastructure, a leading company in the infrastructure and road safety sector. Here, Nigel continues to pursue his vision for improved safety through the implementation of advanced vehicle restraint systems, leading product development and improvement programs for both temporary and permanent solutions.
