This will be held virtually via Teams. We invite all voting members of the region to join us.
The AGM offers us an opportunity to reflect on the past year and look forward to the next. It also provides an opportunity for CIHT members to hear about and get involved in the Northern Ireland region’s activities.
The AGM will see the region’s Chair reflect on the past year and the successes of the region. The AGM will see the election of new committee members and will also see the appointment of the Chair and Officers to take forward the region’s plans for the next year.
If you wish to join the AGM, please use the 'book a place' button on this page, so that you can book your place to attend. Once you have booked your place via this webpage, you will receive a confirmation email with the joining link for the Teams meeting.
Please find the AGM Agenda below:
There are lots of benefits of getting involved with your local committee; CIHT’s regions and nations play a critical role for the Institution, acting as a focal point for members to meet and share their experiences locally. The regions and nations organise an annual programme of activities, which include CPD opportunities, seminars, site visits and social events.
We are always looking for new committee members to keep us fresh, focused and relevant to our membership. So if you are a member of CIHT, and would like to take a proactive and voluntary role in helping run the local Northern Ireland Region please get in touch. We look to include a broad representation from across the relevant sectors – central and local government, private sector consultancy, contractors and academia.
We would particularly welcome applications from young professionals who are either starting out in their career or who have recently become professional qualified to join our Young Professionals Group. Involvement in the committee will count towards Continuing Professional Development and can lead in the longer term to involvement in national CIHT activities.
We are welcoming new committee members, as well as specific officer vacancies, including:
• Vice Chair
• Communications Officer
• Assistant Communications Officer
• Assistant Secretary
