This year’s event is a joint event with the Institution of Civil Engineers. It is an excellent opportunity to meet other Transportation and Civil Engineering Professionals in an informal environment. 

• 12:30 - 13:30  - sandwich lunch
• 13:30 - Stableford competition played off full course handicap (maximum 24 shots to win CIHT or ICE individual prizes) and is open to all members and guests of both Institutions, of all standards and no formal handicap required to participate. Currently nine tee times reserved for up to 27 players (teams of 3)
• Two-course dinner - Members and guests are invited to stay for dinner and networking after the golf
• Prize giving presentation

The afternoon will compete for:

• CIHT member - best individual for the Robin Parkinson Trophy
• ICE member - best individual for the WH Schofield Trophy
• Best team (comprising the threeball tee time) for the Sir James Drake Trophy (team must contain at least one ICE or CIHT member, individual entries will be mixed to try and ensure guests are aligned)
• Best guest

Additional prizes for second & third in the above categories as well as nearest the pin competition(s) will be advised nearer the event and will be subject to player numbers and/or any sponsorship donations; the latter always gratefully received!

The CIHT National Locan Cup will be played at Meon Valley GC, Southampton over Sunday 14th & Monday 15th September, with the top CIHT members, holding a valid handicap certificate, eligible for selection, subject to individual availability, to represent the North West region at the event.
