Overview
This year’s event is a joint event with the Institution of Civil Engineers. It is an excellent opportunity to meet other Transportation and Civil Engineering Professionals in an informal environment.
The golf format will be 18-hole Individual Stableford (off 95% course handicap) and played in threeballs with first tee time at 13:27 and every nine minutes thereafter reserved until & including 14:30 currently. If you want an early/late tee time and/or a buggy, please let Ric know.
Order of the day
- 13:27 - Competition, open to all members and guests of both Institutions, all standards are welcome but players should have a WHS HI registered with England Golf, Wales Golf, etc.
- Two-course dinner - Members and guests are invited to stay for dinner and networking after the golf
- Prize giving presentation

Prizes for this year (n.b. nobody can win two individual prizes):
- WH Schofield Trophy, best ICE member score, maximum playing handicap 24 (n.b. scores of players with handicap greater than 24 will be back calculated to 24 for eligibility)
- Robin Parkinson Trophy, best CIHT member score, maximum playing handicap 24 (n.b. scores of players with handicap greater than 24 will be back calculated to 24 for eligibility)
- Sir James Drake Trophy, best threeball aggregate score (cards may be drawn at random to ensure at least one member of the team is ICE/CIHT member as they get to take prized level home!)
- ICE/CIHT member best score, all handicaps
- Guest best score, all handicaps
- Nearest the pin in two on 8th
