The time has come for CIHT's next Annual Presidential Inauguration Ceremony!
Join us on 23 June at 17:00-18:00 from the comfort of your own home or office for our virtual ceremony where we will be celebrating and welcoming our new President, Deborah Sims FCIHT, into her new role.
This virtual webinar will be an all female panel of speakers taking place on International Women in Engineering Day.
The event is free for all to attend, members and non-members alike. We welcome and encourage everyone to join us for this proud and exciting time.
The event will start at 17:00 with welcome and opening remarks from CIHT's Chief Executive Officer, Sue Percy FCIHT.
Deborah will discuss and answer audience questions on her theme of ‘route to professionalism’ and CIHT’s plans for the next 12 months. This will be a rare opportunity to hear from the new President.
She will also touch on issues including what it means to be a professional, how we can all make a difference, and the importance of leading by example.
For the first time, due to being a digital event, more people can attend the Inauguration Ceremony and meet our new President to find out what inspires her to make a difference. Deborah will also look at the importance of being professionally qualified and launch some new and exciting initiatives that all of our members and others can get involved in.
